Designed in consultation with leaders from the business community and public sector organisations, the MBS in Business Economics is an innovative one-year full time programme (2 years part-time) that equips participants with the key professional skills to work in the ever-changing business world.
Theoretically grounded, evidence-based and application orientated, the focus of this unique programme is on understanding firm performance and competitiveness in the global business environment.
By following the focussed taught courses and conducting your own research you learn how to explain and apply core theories, empirical methods and a range of analytical tools that are relevant and transferable to a range of fundamental business issues.
A key strength of the courses on the programme is the use of workshops, group discussions and case study analysis. Other features of the programme include team-working, and producing analyses, reports and presentations to a high professional standard. Approx 50% of the marks for the programme are accounted for by continuous assessment.
