This work-based learning course is currently only open to a corporate client.
The units studied are a two-day research methods workshop held at the start of the programme and a dissertation of approximately 12,000 words.
The workshop prepares you for the individual dissertation by introducing you to the various approaches and techniques of research in the human resource management area. Following the submission of the research proposal, you will be allocated a dissertation supervisor who will support you in the understanding of a self-managed project in the training and development which will be completed over the remaining period of the course. There is considerable flexibility in the choice of the research topic.

Diploma qualifications in training and employee development or equivalent, including CIPD or NVQ Level 7 in learning and development. Applicants with relevant professional experience in senior management will also be considered.
