Training in integrated approach to investigation, planning and design of buildings in sustainable environment context. Program is focused on conceptual solution of building energy and environmental systems and building structure - heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, power distribution, control together with knowledge about building physics - thermal, lighting, acoustics in framework to create buildings with quality indoor environment and minimized impact to environment aimed to contribute to sustainable buildings.
Theoretical courses from applied mathematics and physics give the base for applied science and practical courses divided into two specializations - building services and building structures. Training is completed in education of research and practical projects, using team-working method.
Students will get knowledge about environmental and energy performance of buildings, which gives them opportunity to have integrated approach to solve problems.
Graduates of the BaE acquire necessary practice of independent creative work, continuous lifelong learning and monitoring of worldwide technical development. After gaining sufficient industrial experience graduates can work as consultant for integrated building design, building services design (HVAC, sanitary technology), consulting engineer in the field thermal performance, acoustic, lighting, building energy, energy auditing, building services design team leader, building company manager, HVAC commissioning, government, local authorities. They can also continue in doctoral programs.
They can also work as teachers of technical subjects at technical colleges and universities.

Condition for acceptance to study in master course is successful completion minimally bachelor degree studies in the Building construction, Environmental engineering, Building Services Engineering and related study branches. Entrance examination is in the form of oral interview, in reasonable cases written interview.
