This course addresses current corporate and legal debates and problems. You learn to present sophisticated analyses of ethical problems in management. It is for people currently working in a managerial role in law, personnel, human resources or corporate administration in public or private organisations. It helps your career prospects and gives you a strategic understanding of the modern workplace from a legal and corporate perspective.

You learn how to view the connections between law and management, and decide how further research should be done. Academic theory can help clarify problems and guide solutions. You also learn to recognise conflicts and ambiguities between law and corporate strategy, and make informed judgements about how to accommodate these. Plus you develop solutions that make a positive impact on the corporate strategy of an organisation.

Your studies allow you to develop original perspectives and theories on law and management, using current research and literature.

Our vibrant and multi-cultural student community is one of Britain´s largest and we are one of the UK´s most forward-looking universities with some of the best facilities. There is an excellent student support network with debating and mooting societies supported by sponsorship.

We enjoy good relationships with many major UK industries and professions and visiting speakers from commerce and industry present guest lectures.
