The course is for those who want an in depth understanding of the events, conference and hospitality industry for a career as a manager or specialist in this area. It attracts people from all over the world, encouraging a real international experience.

As the events and conference industry grows worldwide, it develops more specialised and sophisticated facilities and events. In an increasingly competitive environment, a wide range of organisations manage these facilities and events.

Contents

This course gives you the option of completing up to 12 months work experience. The skills you develop and the industry experience you gain can significantly improve your employability. You can work for many types of organisation, from hotel groups and event companies to government tourism organisations.

Normally an honours degree or recognised equivalent qualification

We welcome enquiries from those who have substantial management experience but do not have the normal entry requirements. We may invite you for an interview to discuss your particular background, experience and qualifications. We aim to ensure you can achieve success on this masters course, but please contact us if you wish to discuss your own concerns.

Through accreditation of prior learning you may be able to claim entry with credit or exemptions based on your existing qualifications, knowledge and experience.

If your first language is not English you must provide evidence of competence in English such as A TOEFL test minimum mark, paper-based 550, computer-based 213, internet-based 79 or an IELTS score of 6.0.
