This course is part of our built environment programme and is one of our construction, building and project management courses.
This course is for professionals in all areas of construction including
* architecture
* quantity surveying
* building surveying
* civil engineering.
We designed the course in collaboration with industry and professionals. It equips you with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage construction projects to a high professional level. The course is flexible and adaptable to your needs and the needs of your business.
You study topics such as management, contract procurement and construction economics. This gives you a thorough understanding of the complex legal, financial, procedural and practical areas of managing construction projects. You learn to finish projects within time and cost constraints, and safety and quality guidelines, taking into account essential legal, personnel and environmental considerations.
The course is available full-time or part-time, so you can study as much or as little as your work commitments allow. It also gives you the chance to meet and share ideas and experiences with professionals from a wide range of national and international companies, from all levels of management.
Most of you will already be working in construction or a related area.
This course improves your present working practices and prospects for promotion in your organisation. It also helps you to find a position with more responsibility at another company in the UK or overseas.

Assessment
A combination of written examination and continuous assessment.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testA degree or equivalent in a related discipline or a recognised professional qualification at corporate membership level. We also consider applicants with alternative qualifications or a combination of qualifications and relevant work.
International students must also have an IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in writing.
