Skills

Marketing requires a wide range of skills. You'll learn to think analytically, and critically examine the issues confronting the global business environment. Based over one year, the course will involve lectures, tutorials and independent study.

Trimester 1

Principles and Practices of Marketing, Marketing Communications, Consumer Behaviour

Trimester 2

Strategic Brand Management, Global Marketing, choice of: Direct and Digital Marketing, Market Analysis and Forecasting, International Festival & Events Management, Advertising as Cultural Discourse; Managing Cross-cultural Diversity in Organisations; or New Venture Planning.

Trimester 3

Research Methods, Dissertation

Entry Qualifications FT:

Prospective applicants should possess a Degree (normally at Honours level) or appropriate professional qualification.

Entry Qualifications PT:

CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing or Honours degree.

If English is not your first language, you´ll need to provide evidence that you can read, write, speak and understand English satisfactorily. For most courses, in additional to satisfying the standard entry requirements, we normally require international students (check) to demonstrate their English ability through an English language test, usually IELTS (International English Language Testing System), or TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).Courses require an IELTS score of 6.0, which is equivalent to ToEFL 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based) or 79-80 (internet-based).
