The course runs for one calendar year, starting in Mid-September. Each of the four parts of the course is underpinned by its own learning philosophy.
The first semester ensures a common basis of knowledge across the eight areas covered by the Foundation Courses, and lays the groundwork for development of the communication skills required for leadership. The Integrative Projects apply the `academic´ knowledge in a real business situation.
Accounting | Statistics | Economics | Finance | Organisational Studies | Marketing | Operations Management | Ethics
After the winter vacation, the broad study of the first semester is replaced with a deeper analysis of Strategy in the Strategic Management course, and by the study of 3 options. This deeper knowledge is studied and applied in case studies, mostly working intensively in groups. Personal development is further enhanced and supported in this period. Students are advised to take one of the many language courses available during this term.
In the period after the Spring Vacation, the style of course changes to intensive one week courses, which allow application of ideas from different subject areas to management issues. This section of the course is all about bringing all the aspects to gether, and handling the outcomes of all the different elements. The one-week format also allows faculty to come from other continents to teach. The synthesis of ideas in the courses is matched by the requirements to provide business solutions in the Consultancy Project.
The final phase of the programme involves deepening the study in a way directly relevant to each individual´s chosen career through the dissertation.
