This programme aims to provide the theoretical, practical and clinical basis of the science of audiology. It contains two short clinical placements in NHS audiology departments in the North West of England.
The programme prepares students for a career as an Audiologist or Clinical Scientist in the NHS, other health care services or research environments.

Full entry requirements
Academic entry qualification overview: A minimum upper second class honours degree, or the overseas equivalent, in a suitable science subject (or possibly suitable experience combined with alternative qualifications). A keen interest in audiology must also have been demonstrated.
English language: Students whose first language is not English are required to hold IELTS 7.0, TOEFL 600 paper based or 250 computer based.
Other international entry requirements:
International students are advised to do the following:
* Send copies of the required qualifications to the University as soon as possible
* Send proof of funding for the course to which they are applying. The University does not fund individual students. Candidates should seek finance from their own government or an international awarding body, or be self funding
* Students whose first language is not English should approach the British Council in their own country in order to take an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test. Candidates should have an IELTS score of at least 7.0, with at least 7.0 in writing ability
