Graduates with business and management skills and an understanding of the Chinese economy and culture are in demand. Study the implications of China's economic growth for businesses around the world as well as the unique business processes, traditions and politics of the fastest growing economy in the world.

We have restructured the course in three key aspects:

* It features more China-related modules and covers a broader range of functional management areas.
* the course is structured around core, restricted and optional modules to give you greater latitude in constructing your module profiles in line with your academic interests.
* We now offer Mandarin course modules across all levels.

Any study of contemporary international business has to include an evaluation of China's growing economic strength. This course allows you to examine in greater detail the impact of this emerging global superpower. You focus on business and management in the Chinese context, looking at Chinese-owned and foreign-owned businesses operating in China, as well as Chinese multinational firms operating outside China. It takes a comparative and international approach, assessing the consequences of the growing importance of the Chinese economy and Chinese firms for companies in other countries.

You learn about the intricacies of Chinese business and management, and their relationship to the country's cultural and institutional environment. You have access to internationally renowned staff with expert knowledge in the key business and management disciplines as they relate to China.

The course provides you with a rich and interesting experience. It draws on disciplinary knowledge from strategic management, marketing, finance, supply chain management, organisation studies, human resource management, and politics. You will have the opportunity to undertake an original piece of research on a China-related topic of your choice.
