The MSc Finance and Business Economics course appeals to students who are seeking a course that brings the study of finance and economics together within a business school context. The course content is evenly balanced between business economics and finance.

The course provides you with advanced training in both finance and related areas of business economics. The course has an international orientation, with a strong empirical content. There is a specific focus on business economics, with courses examining the linkages between international macroeconomics and global capital markets, and examining the economics of business organisational structures. You carry out a major piece of empirical research in a dissertation project from either the finance or business economics areas.

Course teaching and dissertation supervision are shared equally by two divisions in Manchester Business School: the Manchester Accounting and Finance Group (MAFG) and Marketing and International Business (MIBS).
