The MSc in Advanced Management Practice is designed for business and management graduates and combines advanced management education with practical work experience. The programme incorporates a professional work placement, enabling you to gain valuable work experience in one of the many blue-chip organisations with which the School has links.

Aims:
This one semester course will enable you to:
* Understand your strengths and weaknesses and set your development objectives to be achieved on the degree;

* Develop your knowledge of contemporary career theory with its emphasis on individuals taking responsibility for their own professional development
Content:
Career-orientation assessment; Developmental Network Analysis; Learning Contract including the Learning Needs Analysis and the Personal Development Plan; CV Writing, Covering Letters and Application Forms; Interview Skills, Mock Interview Preparation Session.
Assessment:
Learning Contract including the Learning Needs Analysis and the Personal Development Plan (individual: 3,000 words in total).

Register Now!A good first degree in business/ management (2:1 or above or its international equivalent). The minimum non-graduate qualifications acceptable for admission to the University of Bath are:
* A relevant postgraduate diploma (passed at the appropriate level); or
* A relevant professional qualification together with papers passed at an appropriate standard if required by the appropriate Head of Group; or
* Extended and responsible experience in a relevant field of industry, teaching or a government establishment with authorship of papers of an acceptable academic standard.
English Language
Candidates whose first language is not English will normally require an IELTS score of 7.0 with no less than 6.5 in each of the four components or an internet-based TOEFL score of 100 with no less than 24 in any one band.
