An integration of theoretical knowledge with practical, problem-solving cases
The Bath MBA equips students with both theoretical and practical knowledge as well as the professional and personal skills to manage strategically and successfully in a constantly changing environment.
The programme integrates theoretical disciplines through the application of knowledge and skills to live business cases, assignments and projects. It facilitates critical thinking as an effective route to resolving the complexities that face managers within today´s rapidly changing business environment.
Students take an in-depth look at their career potential through a dedicated stream of work that has a focus on developing managerial competence.
The Bath MBA has long been renowned for the Entrepreneurship in Action Project. This business planning exercise draws together the functional knowledge gained during the first phase of the programme to embed enterprise skills along with an understanding of how high-performance and creative teams are developed and managed. It provides students with the opportunity to encounter the real-life process of launching an entrepreneurial enterprise.

A degree at First or Second Class Honours level, or equivalent classification/GPA, awarded by an approved institution or a final qualification of a professional body accepted to the University. For individuals whose academic background does not meet our minimum criteria or who are at the margins of 3 years' relevant, post graduate, management experience, we require a GMAT score in excess of 600.
English requirements
Candidates whose first language is not English will normally require an IELTS score of 7.0 with no less than 6.5 in writing. or an iBT TOEFL score of 100 with no less than 24 in any one band.
