Location of Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e)

Electrical Engineering deals with the application and modeling of electronic, electromagnetic and physical phenomena in electrical energy transmission. Electrical systems are designed and implemented.

The Master's program in Electrical Engineering lasts two years. During this time you will follow two miniprograms and a general professional development course, you will take internships, follow elective courses and do a graduation project. Most graduates start their careers in research or product development, for example at one of the high-tech. The Electrical Engineering study is a broad education, and because you have learned to think very systematically, you will be able to operate both in your own specialist field and in completely new domains. The Master's program in Electrical Engineering has a substantial number of laboratories, which means that the program is not limited to pure fundamental research but also offers opportunities for application- and design-related research. Furthermore, Eindhoven is the technological heart of the Netherlands. Many high-tech companies and institutes are located in this region, and substantial numbers of the scientific staff are also employed in these companies. This contributes to excellent external contacts with universities and companies, in both the Netherlands and other countries.
