This Masters programme is designed to provide people who have not previously studied Management with a broad introduction to all aspects of the subject including: finance, human resources, operational management, strategy and information management. The subject is studied in an international context, reflecting the reality of the global economy in which organisations operate. You will give you a chance to specialise in particular areas of interest in the second term.
The programme will provide you with the knowledge and skills to undertake a range of management roles in private and public sector organisations and we hope will complement knowledge and skills gained in previous studies.

English Language requirements
Applicants for whom English is not their first language should provide evidence of English language competence. Acceptable qualifications are:
IELTS: with overall score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.5 in Writing and 6.0 in other components
TOEFL: 96in the Internet-based test with a minimum of 24 for writing, 23 for speaking, 23 for listening and 23 for reading.

Pearson Language Test: 67
Pre-Masters Programme (Graduate Diploma in Academic Communication)
Applicants for Masters programmes in the Management School, Politics, Physics, Social Practice and Social Work or Women’s studies, with an IELTS result of 5.5, can take the University’s Pre-Masters programme. This programme provides spoken and written skills development in specific subject areas, as well as preparation for Postgraduate level study in a UK environment.
