Location of International Hellenic University

The programme lasts 2 years and the teaching is done during 1 long weekend (including Friady) every month. Our programme is built in a flexible way to facilitate learning through a variety of teaching methods, technologies, environments, workshops and integrating seminars.

All teaching faculty are visiting professors from the best British Universities, everyone is top in his/her field.

The programme includes 12 core courses, which cover the wide area of business, and students have a choice of 4 electives from an extended list. In addition the EMBA includes professional development seminars, integrated seminars, a field trip and a corporate project.

Students come from a variety of industry fields and from several countries in Southeastern Europe.

The IHU EMBA is founded on three guiding principles:

Upon completion of the EMBA Programme, you will have:

* a thorough grasp of the principles and applications of key management functions, together with technical and conceptual skills

Contents

One extended weekend every month. Core courses are taught during the first 12 months of the programmes. Most courses are assessed by coursework but there are some courses that have coursework and exams. There are no classes during the months of August, December and April.

Students submit their coursework one month after the completion of the course. Exams are taking place in the months of January, May and September, always on Friday of the MBA weekend.

The Business Consultancy ProjectAs a part of the IHU EMBA programme, students submit an individual 10,000-word business project on a subject relating to their study and career. The objective of the EMBA project is to provide insights, analysis and conclusions grounded in academic discipline but also relevant to management. Projects are undertaken within a sponsoring organisation under the supervision of a member of the academic faculty.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

Requirements

To be considered for the EMBA, candidates are required to have:

* a good university degree
* a minimum of two years' full-time work experience gained after graduation
* a well-balanced GMAT score
* a good IELTS or TOEFL score, or a Cambridge Certificate for graduates from non-English-speaking universities
* strong motivation and commitment to complete the EMBA on a part-time basis
* a personal interview may be required
