The programme is 50% theory and 50% practice and is integrated across the duration of the course. The theoretical component is undertaken at the University and the practical component in a clinical setting, under the supervision of a qualified professional Practice Teacher from the chosen specialist pathway.
All students are required to attend University to obtain the theoretical elements of the course, and spend the equivalent time in clinical practice.

Assessment
Students will be exposed to a variety of assessment methods designed to ensure that the content, outcomes and level of the modules are measured in a fair and transparent manner. Examples include assignments, seminars, presentations and portfolios.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testThe criteria for entry on to the programme will be registration on the appropriate part of the Nursing and Midwifery Council Register (NMC) for the chosen pathway. In addition, practitioners will have a minimum of one year´s relevant post registration experience and support from a sponsoring trust.
Applicants must also meet the following academic requirements:
* A minimum of two years post-registration experience including one months´ relevant community experience
* Successful completion of a degree in nursing or a health related field, or equivalent (i.e. 120 credits at Level 4, 120 credits at Level 5 and 120 credits at Level 6, either through study or APCL/APEL)
* Support from the sponsoring trust
* Applicants will normally be expected to have successfully completed a Mentorship module at Level 3/6.
Independent Students
Within the current programme we have attracted students who wish to fund themselves. These students will be considered on an individual basis and should seek further information from the programme leader.
