The program entails an in-depth study of the field and provides students with the opportunity not only to become thoroughly familiar with the most prominent issues but also adept in handling the core challenges faced by management who operate in this international context.

The course elaborates on the consequences of environmental differences, and students develop the ability to apply this knowledge to the development of strategies, instruments and processes. Using the most recent scientific material and studies, students following this program develop the analytical ability to apply the implications of how context matters to the management of international business.

The central focus of the Master of Science in International Business & Management is the issues experienced by internationally oriented organizations. Within this focus, specific attention is paid to comparative analyses of countries, institutions, cultures and, of course, companies and their strategies.

Students will be trained to apply this knowledge to the development of company strategies, instruments and processes. Students will also learn how to analyze the markets in different countries, understand various institutional environments and develop a sharp eye for processes within multinational enterprises. Strategies are often related to country selection, entry strategies, marketing approaches and to questions related to company currency policies.

Additionally, students will develop skills to efficiently communicate and cooperate with people from different cultural backgrounds.
