This advanced tourism programme offers specialist focus and training on the management requirements of the travel and tourism sector. Students will gain competencies in the application of management concepts, techniques and strategies for the solution of real life problems and issues in tourism management.
This highly flexible programme offers two pathways, an MA or an MSc. This allows students to choose the management emphasis that suits their preferences and professional development needs.

Eligibility
Students must successfully meet the following assessment criteria:
* Academic - successful completion of all Semester 1 modules including research methods at the first attempt

* Interview- interview with the university internship panel
Assessment
After completing the Internship, you are required to write an extensive report based on the managerial and educational experience derived from the internship itself and present your findings to both the employers and academic staff.
Students who wish to build competencies in business disciplines such as financial accounting and strategy and economics may opt for the MSc in International Tourism Management. For those applicants who prefer to further their training and skills development in marketing and human resource management, the MA in International Tourism Management is a more suitable choice.
This programme includes a dissertation on a tourism related topic or a company report. Students will be able to apply for a company internship and if successful, will be required to do a management report.
