In an increasingly competitive world the International Business Law LLM provides students with the opportunity to critically analyse and evaluate the laws governing business and international business relationships.
The course is suited to law graduates who wish to specialise in international business law, or graduates in business related disciplines with some legal knowledge seeking an international business perspective.
Graduates of this course go into business, industry and commerce here or in their home countries, some will become lawyers specialising in International trade, tax etc.

Contents
Students can expect to study areas such as:
* International Business Law
* International Trade Law
* International Tax Law
Plus one other area of study chosen from:
* Corporate Rescue and Insolvency
* E-Commerce Law
* Employment Law
Together with modules in Research Skills and Research Design. Students may study up to two business competencies (in lieu of a fourth law module) such as:
* Financial Statement Analysis
* Human Resource Management
* Managing in the Business Environment
* Marketing Management
* Strategic Management
Students subsequently complete a research dissertation on a subject of interest relevant to the programme

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

Entry requirements
Applicants should hold a good honours degree in a relevant academic discipline. Applications from candidates with relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis.
Applicants whose first language is not English must have a minimum IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 600 or equivalent.
