Automotive interiors now command as much design attention as exterior styling within the industry.
This new course is offered in direct response to industry requests for a programme of education in this area, and will combine elements from our well-established MA Automotive Design programme with new elements in interior design and fashion trends.
Studies will cover design concept generation and illustration, design modelling and animation, professional group working, and contextual issues.
Students will participate in collaborative projects with industry and produce a major piece of project work as the culmination of their studies.

The Vehicle Interiors MA will cover:

Term 1
* Visual language in automotive design
* Automotive modelling
* Colour, material and fashion trends
* Automotive packaging and ergonomics
Term 2
* Professional automotive design exteriors practice
* Automotive industry in context
* Professional practice
* Research methods
Term 3
* MA project
Students will participate in collaboraative projects with industry and produce a major piece of project work as the culmination of the course.

Entry requirements
You should normally have a first degree in design, textiles, fashion or engineering plus an interest in the business aspect of designing vehicle interiors.
Applicants whose first language is not English must have a minimum IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 600 or equivalent.
