This course is designed for those who wish to enhance their existing professional portfolio together with their understanding of current and emerging practice.
Success in this area depends on the creation of a unique visual signature, an understanding of the need to adapt to market needs, self motivation, independence and the ability to contextualise your practice within a developing field.
Your future National and international graduate career prospects are many and varied and include education, curation, film and television, print and publishing, animation, film, scientific and technical illustration, storyboarding and character generation in 2D and 3D for traditional and emergent media.
Wider opportunities exist in education, television production and web-based media. Graduates may also wish to continue their studies at PhD level.
The course covers illustration, publishing, photography, image generation and animation and facilitates the practitioner's understanding of their role whilst continuing to enhance their abilities, both conceptually and technically.
