This course is open to graduates of any subject and is designed to equip you for a career in modern business.
It is designed to equip graduates of any discipline with the knowledge and skills needed for a career in the rapidly expanding field of information technology. You will develop an understanding of information systems and database systems, the technology available to support management decision-making, the role of the internet and communications technology, and the issues facing IT managers in small, medium and large organisations.
Career positions that previous graduates have taken up after completion of the course are Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Information Technology Manager, Data Officer, Information Systems Consultant and Information Manager.
Contents
This Masters in Information Technology for Management we will prepare you for a career in modern business. As well as compulsory modules you will also be able to choose from a variety of other modules to tailor your course for your specific requirements and interests.
The modules studied are:

Entry requirements
To enter the course you need to have one of the following:
* a good Honours degree or an equivalent qualification
* a relevant professional qualification of equivalent standard, eg BCS Professional Graduate Diploma, CEng, CIM Diploma
* an unclassified degree plus at least two years further study or professional experience
Applicants whose first language is not English must have a minimum IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 600 or equivalent.
