This course shares many components with the MBA(IT) but the emphasis here is on developing the knowledge and skills for the management of information systems and IT resources in business organisations.

The general principles of management taught on an MBA course are selected and directed specifically at the IS/IT function in a business. Basic aspects of management, ie business strategy, finance, marketing and human resource management, are included but more time is given to IS/IT activities such as systems procurement, the design of networking and database strategies, or the implementation of e-commerce systems.
