Location of Coventry University

This innovative course is aimed at graduates of automotive or motorsport degree programmes wishing to prepare for employment in the motorsport industry. It is especially suited to those who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in applied engineering disciplines.

A wide range of technologies is covered with options to pursue specialist interests. Each module has at least one industrial or racing partner, with regular track testing days providing further application focus.

Industry standard design and analysis software, workshops and well-equipped laboratories provide the opportunities for students to practice and develop their skills in a friendly results - orientated team. Staff with relevant experience and commitment to motorsport are on hand to provide support

Several in-house racing projects are offered as well as those arising from an extensive network of contacts in professional motorsport.

Contents

This course consists of a suite of modules, each built around extensive practical applications, where students use a variety of equipment and information resources to extend their skills and knowledge. An activity-led learning approach means that theory and practice are closely linked, and in this case, are always working towards a goal of achieving higher technical performance.

Requirements

You will have an undergraduate degree in a related subject such as automotive or motorsport. You may also be considered for the course if you have significant professional experience in the field.

Applicants whose first language is not English must have a minimum IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 600 or equivalent.
