Location of Coventry University

This programme is for students who have previously studied psychology and want to further their knowledge and understanding of the subject area with a view to practicing psychology.

Students will study general psychology at an advanced level and specialise in their choice of, educational and child psychology, counselling and clinical psychology or forensic psychology.

* Issues in professional practice

Students will also take specialist modules in one of the following areas

* Educational and child psychology
* Clinical and counselling psychology
* Forensic psychology

You will also conduct an extensive piece of independent research on a topic of your choice.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

* Applicants must have a at least a 2:1 degree in either psychology or a relevant discipline, with at least 120 credits of psychology. The equivalent of a grade C in Maths at GCSE Level is also required.
* Applicants for whom English is not their first language must have IELTS 6.5 or above.
