This programme focuses on the analysis of individual companies and there is a heavy emphasis on accounting, corporate strategy and valuation in addition to the core financial analysis modules. Accredited by ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and AIA (The Association of International Accountants), the programme provides candidates with exemptions from selected professional examination papers

The programme provides a strong preparation for work in financial and equity analysis, portfolio fund management, financial services or regulatory bodies, as well as in areas related more generally to accounting and finance.
It also provides a good academic grounding for those who wish to become chartered financial analysts or pursue PhD study. There is a strong hands-on element including the analysis of real-life data from Datastream, the financial press, and industry reports and accounts.
