The programme is designed for graduates who are employed in an architect’s office. This professional experience is supervised and monitored and you must complete a personal appraisal, case studies and practical assignments (60 credits). You also complete taught modules which typically include professional conduct, office administration and in contract administration (60 credits).

Applicants whose first language is not English require IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 90 (Internet-based) or 577 (paper-based), or equivalent. Applicants whose IELTS score is between 6.0 and 6.5, or equivalent, at the time of application must complete a pre-sessional course at INTO Newcastle University before the programme begins.
