You choose taught modules (30 credits) and submit a portfolio of your own creative work (30 credits). Most taught modules are worth 10 credits, and the list typically includes: psychology and creative writing; fiction masterclass; personal documentary practice; poetry and translation; writing for children; memoir writing; writing and health; poetry masterclass; writing for radio; text and public art; the novel: fiction masterclass; and improvisation and adaptation. There is also creative writing (distance learning) (10, 20 or 30 credits) and intensive non-residential courses in creative writing (20 credits).
The programme may be delivered by a combination of short courses, distance learning, intensive courses and portfolio supervision.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
