This unique interprofessional course brings together the latest skills for working with survivors of intentional and unintentional violence, enabling students to work together flexibly and creatively, turning procedures into effective interprofessional practice.
Teaching and Assessment
Teaching - Teaching methods on the course are innovative and encourage interdisciplinary learning. The process of working in partnership across professions is integral to the delivery of the course.
Assessment - Modules are assessed through a combination of coursework, projects and reflective practice. All assessments are designed to promote practice development.

Course Content
The programme consists of eight modules and a dissertation. You are encouraged to choose your routes through the programme according to your experience and learning needs.

* Emergency and crisis responses to victims of violence
* Prevention, public education and community organisation
* Historical, social and cultural perspectives on violence and practice
* Legal responses to intentional and unintentional violence
* Beyond crisis: psychosocial services for survivors of violence
* Elective placement
You may also opt to select modules from other interprofessional practice course routes.When you have successfully completed the eight taught modules to achieve 120 credits plus your dissertation, you will qualify for a full Masters degree, or complete eight taught modules to achieve 120 credits and qualify for a postgraduate diploma.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

* You should have two years' experience in any discipline or service in which you have worked with survivors of intentional or unintentional violence, and be able to demonstrate the ability to study at Masters level
* All applicants will be expected to attend an interview.
