The two courses convey the knowledge for overviewing the different therapeutical fields of chinese medicine and to apply them, concurrently the intellectuall-cultural background of chinese medicine is taught.
Classes are very practically orientated and on a international teaching level. The Emphasis lies on studying chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture in the context of the differentiated diagnostic system of TCM, as well the interaction with patients. Further introductions and first experience in other fields as Tuina (chinese massage), Nutritional therapy and Qi gong are offered.
Under requirement of the basic diagnostic skills and basic knowledge the master course adresses especially the treatment and accompaniment of difficult, chronic diseases. It also teaches scientific methods and their application to TCM in the context of creating a master thesis.The latter may lead to the formulation of a personal special subject and to an immersion into the topic in a practical way. The students attend to an attractive and sought after education in the health sector.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (Degree Master of Science): Persons with a internationaly accepted degree in medicine,dental medicine, veterinary medicine or pharmaceutics, plus degree in TCM-academic expert or equivalent training.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
