Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testEntry requirements are as flexible as possible and we are always willing to talk to potential students about their prior qualifications and suitability for admission.
We would generally expect a good honours degree in Theology or a related subject (e.g. Religious Studies) or equivalent professional qualification. We are also happy to accept an honours degree in another subject plus a distinction in the University of Exeter Certificate in Theology (or comparable Certificate programme). The University aims to operate a policy of equal opportunities at every stage of the admissions process and throughout all modules of study.
