You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testWe expect applicants to have studied Biblical Hebrew or New Testament Greek at an undergraduate level. We also anticipate that applicants would have either at least an upper second class degree in Biblical Studies or Theology, or some equivalent professional qualification in Theology, or a degree in another subject plus a distinction in the University of Exeter Certificate in Theology (or comparable Certificate programme).
However, we are always willing to talk to potential students about their prior qualifications and suitability for admission. The University aims to operate a policy of equal opportunities at every stage of the admissions process and throughout all modules of study.
