This programme is of interest to all those who would like to obtain advanced training in the discipline of Politics, with an emphasis on the study of democracy in the context of global and European developments.
The MA in Politics provides an opportunity to study transitions to democracy in a variety of countries across the globe under the supervision of a number of recognised area specialists. It also enables students you to analyse new challenges to established democracies provoked, for example, by technological change, globalisation and European integration. Key to the programme is its flexibility.
There is only one core module: Philosophy and Methodology of Politics and International Relations. You then choose five other modules from a wide range of MA options and can thus tailor your degree to suit your interests.
