Engineering Management: Electronic Systems
Engineering Management: Materials and Advanced Manufacturing
Engineering Management: Supply Chain and Logistics

Location

Streatham Campus, Exeter

The full-time MSc, accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) offers maximum flexibility and a suite of pathways designed to meet your academic, professional and career needs. This degree, and the Civil and Environmental pathway are accredited as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for a Chartered Engineer (CEng) for candidates who have already acquired an Accredited CEng (Partial) BEng (Hons) undergraduate first degree. For further information please see the Joint Board of Moderator's (JBM) website.

The Electronic Systems stream is accredited by the IET, the Materials and Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chain and Logistics pathways are accredited by the IMechE.

The programme is ideal if you are a science, engineering or mathematics graduate wishing to increase your technological knowledge and acquire the essentials of management theory and practice.

You can either follow the base programme allowing maximum flexibility in module choice, or you can specialise in one of four pathways drawing on the College's research strengths. The base programme is ideally suited if you wish to leave your choice of specialisation until you arrive at Exeter, are crossing the discipline boundary within engineering, or if you are a science student entering engineering management. The management element and the opportunity for industry-based projects means the programme opens up a wide range of employment opportunities and can act as a foundation for further research in all areas of engineering.
