This is a new course within our already successful Master's portfolio. The course has been developed to provide an academic programme in which theory and practice are applied to aspects of finance and investment management. This course offers a combination of academic study through the degree award and the opportunity to enter levels one and two of the Chartered Financial Analyst professional examinations.
The course is offered by `block study' over a two year period, or by one year's full time study and for this reason the course is split into two parts and a dissertation. Each part consists of four taught modules.
If you are planning to develop a career as a financial analyst, fund manager or a related position within the financial sector then this course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need. On completion of the course you will also have the opportunity to enter levels one and two of the CFA ® (Chartered Financial Analyst) professional examinations.
The programme will not only appeal to those who wish to pursue a professional qualification relevant to corporate governance and corporate administration, but also those wishing to enter the field of finance and corporate regulation. ICSA members operate in all fields of the economy including the diverse activities of share regulation, university management, company secretaryship, corporate regulation, banking and finance.
