If you are a practitioner in education and you would like to improve your professional expertise, this degree has been developed for you. It will give you the opportunity to engage in the process of systematic and analytical enquiry into the theories and practices of education, with a view to developing and improving your own practice and the quality of your own and others’ learning. This education programme also includes specific pathways for Newly Qualified teachers (NQTs).
The programme will help you extend your professionalism by developing your practice and work with others. You will also benefit from developing learning networks with other committed professionals.
To gain the MA you take four 30-credit modules and complete a 60-credit practice based research project. The postgraduate diploma can be awarded upon completion of four 30-credit modules.
Careers
This two-year award is recognised both nationally and internationally as a full level five teaching qualification by the Further Education sector and employers in the public and private sectors. On successful completion of this programme you may wish to pursue further professional training towards a postgraduate awards in education or continue with a career in this sector.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testA minimum of 65 hours teaching in each year of the course and an advanced qualification and practical experience in your subject specialism. 4 GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Mathematics or equivalent, with a recommendation for accredited IT skills. Students with relevant qualifications may be able to enter Year 2 of the programme.
