The MSc in International Business provides an opportunity for you to study the global economy and prepare for a career in the modern business world. This programme is also suitable for students from a non business background.
This programme will provide an opportunity for students to learn and to understand the business opportunities of an increasingly interdependent yet diverse business world and to gain the skills to meet the challenges in an international way. It will also provide students with a comprehensive grounding in theoretical and empirical knowledge of International Business.
By the end of the programme, you will have acquired a high standard of knowledge in the principles, theoretical concepts and practice of international business. You will be able to analyse issues arising in international business, and will be sensitive to the cross-cultural and cross-national aspects of management.
In addition, you will have further developed a range of valuable personal skills. These include skills in managing research projects, the ability to examine previous literature critically, the design of research investigations, the use of statistical and other techniques, presentation skills, and those of problem solving and organising group work. All are valuable capabilities for your future career development.
