Program comprises 13 modules, related to fishery science and aquaculture, as well as a student project and the thesis. The major fields of the modules are Limnology/Ichthyology, Fishery management and Fish Breeding and Fish Pathology. Many opportunities are given to do practical training or research abroad. The program focusses on ecological aspects, evoloution of fis, recreational fisheries, genetics, etc.
Modules are devided into basics and in-depths. Five of each group to be taken. In addition, 3 free choice module, a student project during the third semester and the thesis during the fourth semester complete the program. Each module is worth 6 credits referring to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). The thesis is worth 30 credits.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
