The program is designed to qualify candidates for positions in health and social services, agencies and voluntary organisations, as well as in teaching in education programs, lower level research positions and intake into doctoral studies.
MIS students are recruited both from inside and outside Scandinavia. Previous students have backgrounds from more than 30 nations, many different religions and a wide diversity of ethnic groups. The professors teaching both compulsory and elective courses have a great depth of experience in comparative research including, participation in EU-funded projects and consultancies for international agencies such as the UNDP, OECD and the World Bank.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
