Marketing Research is the collection and analysis of data and dissemination of the results to improve marketing decision making. This Master's programme trains you to provide implementation needed by marketing management in the complex environments in which they make their decision.

More and more, marketing research takes an prominent place in many business. Can we launch a new product? Is there a markt for it? Should we revise our prices or communication strategy to fend off a new competition? These types of marketing decisions should not be based on intuition but on sound research. The Master in Marketing Research provides insides into a range of methods to analyse customer behaviour and reactions to marketing mix changes. end content_main


Contents

The programme consists of 60 Credits (ECTS), equivalent to 1680 hours of study, offered over two semesters. The first semester starts in September, with exams in December and January. The second semester runs from February to June, but is divided in two. From February to April, you will take the two courses. From April on, you will be able to focus on your Master´s Thesis.

Requirements

In order to have access to the Master's programme in Marketing Research, you need a solid basis in the following areas:

* Mathematics and Statistics
* Academic Skills
* Organisation
* Management
* Finance or Accounting
* Marketing

Proficiency in English is required. Students who did their Bachelor´s in the Netherlands, native English speakers and applicants with a Bachelor´s degree from a programme entirely in English are admitted without a test. All other students should have a minimum Academic IELTS score of 6.5, or, alternatively, a minimum IbT TOEFL score of 90 is necessary. Scores on separate parts are also evaluated, since candidates must possess good reading, writing, and oral skills. In addition, candidates need to take the GMAT test. The average GMAT score of admitted students is 600.
