International Focus of the Programme
Lithuania is often considered to be the geographical center of Europe, which adds to the international appeal of the programme. In recent semesters, we have had students from Lithuania, the European Union and the Americas brought into the same classroom at Vilnius University, adding to cross-cultural exchange and sharing of different business practices. The language of instruction will be English. Our instructors are not only from Lithuania, but also from other European countries, and native English speakers from the United States. Our instructors are experts in their fields, and also have ties with the local business community, which will assist students in hands-on experience in the business world. Furthermore, because our instructors are knowledgeable in the practical aspects of International Business Economics and Management, they are also specialists in the economic theory of management and economic organization. Thus, alongside practical, hands-on management skills, the students will learn to think logically and critically, which is a requirement in an increasingly competitive global market. As Lithuania is also at a historical turning point boasting one of the most dynamic economies in Europe - the students will find themselves in a unique position to tap into this lucrative market.
As is well known in the business world, connections are key to success. We believe that the other international students, our top-notch faculty, and the business connections the International Business Economics and Management Programme of Vilnius University will provide you with, will facilitate the crucial links to your future careers.
