The scope of the Programme is 90 ECTS credits. The obligatory courses in the first semester include International Tourism Policy and Planning, Strategic Management of Tourism, Financial Tourism Management, Service Quality Management, and Research Methods.
During the second semester there will be a possibility to study Tourism Marketing and IT in Tourism as obligatory courses. Among optional courses there will be a choice from: Sustainable Tourism, Hospitality Management, Niche Tourism, and Events Management.
Your experience at Vilnius University will be intellectually stimulating not only because of the breadth of courses, but also because of the international and intercultural environment you will experience in Lithuania.
The first two semesters of the programme consist of both obligatory and optional courses. Among the optional courses, students will have an opportunity to choose courses according to their field of interest: either tourism operations or destination management. It is planned that students would be given an opportunity to study one semester abroad. Each semester, students will work on research projects in line with their selected topics.
The third and final semester is meant for practical tasks and further specialization in the student´s area of interest and developing their master´s thesis.

2nd Semester (each course is of 6 ECTS):

3rd Semester
Thesis (30 ECTS) at Vilnius University or Iinternship and Project Work (30 ECTS) at Ca'Foscary University, italy.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
More informationEach applicant is required to have a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent and has to demonstrate that he or she has collected no less than 30 ECTS credits in the fields of economics, management and business administration or other social sciences.
The selection criterion is based on the weighted average of relevant grades recorded in the transcript of the student´s academic record. Priority will be given to students with more courses and/or higher grades in management and business administration.
All applicants have to prove their English proficiency; therefore, proof of proficiency in English is required: TOEFL score: 550 (PBT paper-based test) or 80 (iBT internet-based test); IELTS score: 6.
