Location of Mykolas Romeris University

Public Sector Economics students will understand and will be able to evaluate the public sector fundamentals and content, its role and functions in the context of economical globalisation and integration, economical relationship between the state and its market. They will learn to analyse and apply the mechanisms of public goods production, distribution, consumption, and payment.

This programme is targeted to students who have background in economics or public administration. Acquisition of Master´s Degree in Public Sector Economics enables the graduates of the programme to get placements in economical subdivisions of public sector, educational institutions where issues of public sector economics are being researched and taught, in economical services of municipalities, districts, ministries and other departments as well as associated business institutions.

Requirements

APPLICATION PROCEDUREThose wishing to enroll in Master´s Degree programme should submit the following documents:

* Filled in Application Form;
* Certificate of university (or high school) transcript and diploma evaluation in Lithuania;
* Legalized copies of university transcript and diploma (a candidate must have a Bachelor´s degree or an equivalent first university degree with a minimum 3-year study duration);
* Notarized copy of document proving results of the English language proficiency;
* Three recent photographs;
* Copy of passport or ID card;
* Certificate from a bank and legalized Letter of Guarantee from parents/sponsors along with other documents proving applicant´s solvency;
* Bank transfer confirmation of Application Fee of 65 EUR addressed to Mykolas Romeris University (non-refundable).

All documents must be translated into the Lithuanian or the English language. Application documents must be sent by post addressed to Mykolas Romeris University, Directorate for International Relations and Studies.
