The Master´s Programme in International Management is a full-time two-year academic training programme for students at bachelor level with interests and career intentions in international companies and international environment. The programme provides students with a comprehensive business education in the main fields of economics, management, finance, marketing, cross-cultural communication and negotations. The Programme is organized by the Faculty of Business Administration and is fully run in English.
The starting point of the Programme is CEMS MIM covering mostly the first year of studies. With regard to its interdisciplinary character also teachers from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, the Faculty of International Relationships and the Faculty fo Informatics and Statistics take an active part in delivering the Programme. Students will just as well have many opportunities to enroll into courses where visiting professors are invited to participate. An indispensible part of the studies is a semestr spent abroad at a CEMS partner university.
The programme comprises 120 ECTS spread over a 2 year academic period. The first academic year covers the requirements set by the CEMS MIM programme.
The main parts of the CEMS MIM programme are to be fulfilled by the end of the first academic year and consists of
* the block seminar,
* skill seminars,
* a business project,
* a semester abroad at a CEMS university partner,·
* mandatory and elective courses.
During the second academic year students are expected
* to write and to submit a diploma thesis,
* to pass the state exam in Microeconomics,
* to pass the state exam in International Strategy, International Management and International Marketing,
* to pass language exams,
* to actively attend and to successfully finish remaining mandatory and elective courses.
By successful completion of all Master´s programme requirements students will be awarded in addition CEMS MIM degree.
The International Programme thus enables graduates to have unique exposure to the business world while developing sound interpersonal and leadership skills, therefore greatly enhancing their prospects in the field of international business and related markets.

Register Now!We are looking to admit students who will complete the study at the highest level, we are therefore seeking students who:
* have achieved very good academic results,
* are mature and highly motivated,
* focused on the international business environment,
* have been active in a professional surrounding or in a student association,
* have a competence in at least two languages besides their native language.
The admissions procedure consists of three rounds. In the first round of the entrance procedure students submit their application forms with:
* structured curriculum vitae (in English),
* motivation letter (in English),
* language certificates (if available),
* transcript of records (from non-VSE students only),
* bachelor diploma (if already applicable),
* or any other relevant documents supportive for the acceptance to the programme.
Students are expected to show convincingly on their application forms the abilitity to work effectively in two foreign languages.
The application forms are then scrutinised and the following criteria will be evaluated:
* CV and motivation letter in English: 0 - 50 points * relevant experience from abroad,
* work experience,
* motivation to study.
* The academic track record in Bachelor studies: 0 - 50 points * grades from Bachelor or other studies,
* awards related to study or other related activities,
* excellent knowledge of English,
* very good knowledge of a second foreign language.
The total maximum number of points is 100.
In order to proceed to the second round, a minimum of 50 points is required.
In the second round 80 students with the highest number of points are invited for interview. The ultimite criterion of this round is to assess the student´s ability to work as a manager in an international company. It is organised via Assesment Centres and as an interview with the academic director of the Master´s programme. Assesment centres consist of individual and team presentations, personality questionnaires and language examination. Inner motivation, risk taking, stress tolerance, responsibility, flexibility, self-confidence, ability to assert oneself and communication competences are particularly scrutinised.
The principle criteria for the third round consists of the orderly finished Bachelor´s studies with passes in the following subjects (with approximate ECTSs) or their equivalents:
* Management (3 ECTS),
* Marketing (3 ECTS), Accounting (3 ECTS),
* Law (3 ECTS),
* Economics (8 ECTS),
* Mathematics (6 ECTS),
* Statistics (6 ECTS).
