The master’s programme (Dipl.-Ing.) is based on the Software Development and Business Management bachelor’s programme and lasts four semesters. In the master’s programme, students acquire advanced knowledge in both computer science as well as economics.
The education and training aims at a consolidation of special topics while simultaneously maintaining the breadth and interdisciplinarity of the programme. It also prepares graduates to take the initiative in thinking, deciding and acting independently. Therefore, students are given a lot of freedom in putting together the content of the programme.
Graduates of the Software Development and Business Management master’s programme are characterized by their extensive knowledge in the field of software development as well as by their wide range of management and leadership qualities.
The field of activity includes independent designing, which means developing technologies and flows of information rather than just their application.
A combination of economic and computer science knowledge, the way the Software Development and Business Management does it, is thus the ideal basis for a professional start after graduating from the programme.
