IT professionals increasingly need to be fully involved inmanagement-related activities, while managers often need to understand the information systems underpinning their enterprises or organisations. Thus, there is an increasingly symbiotic relationship between management and information in the complex knowledge-based organisations of the 21st century.
The M.Sc MOTIS will train students from diverse backgrounds to answer these challenges and to become high-level Technology Managers.
Our aim is to produce hybrid managers with the necessary flexibility to successfully manage complex information systems and the necessary relational skills to manage the development of those systems within an enterprise or organisation.
This MSc will allow students to develop a career in an internationally-focussed company as a project manager, IS manager or business engineer or to become a consultant in domains such as ERP, CRM and business intelligence.
The last semester of the programme is a professional internship which is the perfect springboard for a career in the student´s chosen sector.
