This Masters programme consists of four taught modules: Research Methodologies, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Innovation Environment, and Tissue Engineering from Concept to Clinical Practice.
In addition, clinically trained professionals will acquire the knowledge to understand the scientific data generated and translate it successfully into something of clinical value – ‘Bench to Bedside’. Teaching is delivered via formal seminars, lectures, practical laboratory sessions and interactive workshops in the traditional, as well as industrial, setting.
This programme is jointly taught by staff in the School of Dentistry and the Cardiff School of Biosciences. Special Features:

Applicants to the MSc Tissue Engineering are required to have a minimum 2:2 undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and may come from either a laboratory or clinical science background.
Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to pass either IELTS/TEOFL exams. Minimum requirements are normally IELTS band 7.0 or TOEFL 600 (250 for computer-based test).
