Location of University of Valencia

The master course emerges in the new European Higher Education Area in order to meet existing demands and challenges in the field of work, organizational, and personnel psychology. It is based on sound training models developed by different European organizations. The Master implements the main guidelines developed by the Euro-Psych model for the European Diploma of Psychology (EDP) supported by the European Federation of Psychology Association (EFPA). It also follows the Reference Model and Minimal Standards of the European Curriculum in WOP Psychology established by the European Network of Work and Organizational Psychology Professors (ENOP). As far as teaching design, management, and plan, and university research and evaluation are concerned; the course relies on a highly experienced team."

The course aims to:

  • Train competent professionals in work, organizational and personnel psychology.
  • Contribute to university excellence and competitiveness in the European Higher Education System.
  • Encourage European and non-European student and lecturer mobility in Europe.
  • Become a European education reference in this area for students from all over the world.

It is addressed to psychology graduates with a good English level willing to study on a full-time basis.

The master has been organized by the Faculties of Psychology in five European universities (Universitat de València (Spain), Universitat de Barcelona (Spain), Université René Descartes Paris 5 (France), Alma Mater Studiorum-Università di Bologna (Italy), y Universidade de Coimbra (Portugal).

For a national itinerary of this WOP-P Master

  • The maximum number of students is restricted to 10.
  • LANGUAGE: English (knowledgeof another language of the consortium will be a plus)

The total workload is 120 ECTS credits (60 per year) to be obtained at least in two of the five European Universities involved in the programme. The student has to develop at least 60 ECTS credits of the workload in the partner institution where he/she is registered (Home University), and at least 40 ECTS credits (1/3 of the total) in another partner institution located in a different country (Host University). Any combination of home and host universities, pertaining to different countries, is possible. It is also possible to develop exchange periods of study in any of the new partner univirisities: Universidade de Brasilia (Brazil) and University of Guelph (Canada)

Students are awarded a double title, delivered by the Home and the Host Universities they study at over the master programme.

For next academic year 2012-2013 there is a new call for scholarships for students and scholars (teachers) from all over the world aiming to study/teach at the Master in Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P).
