The MA in Media production at the University of Wales, Lampeter offers students a unique opportunity to develop practical skills in a wide range of media.

A compulsory module in research methods provides students with the skills necessary for the thorough planning of their Final Project at MA level, while introducing key principles of media production that will be beneficial in all modules. Students then choose a further three modules from a variety of option modules

The course can be taken over one-year full time study or two years part time, with additional time available for the completion up of the Masters Dissertation if required. The full time taught programme runs over two terms leading to a Postgraduate Diploma, with the opportunity to progress to MA level by completing a self-directed project over term three and the summer period. For part time students this timetable is doubled. A January start date is also available.

Mature students without conventional academic qualifications, but with relevant experience, are encouraged to apply. Each application is assessed on its own merits. All students will be encouraged and supported in acquiring vocational experience within a suitable working environment.
